Digital Community Manager


Arts 4 Dementia values the skills and time given by volunteers and interns, who we hope will gain valuable experience with us as we develop a groundbreaking arts and educational programme to help stimulate and re-energise people in the early stages of dementia. 

You have a passion for technical innovation, social media, with ideas for building up communities. 

Maximising opportunities through the Arts 4 Dementia website, you will help manage audience interactivity, foster community spirit for brand awareness and fundraising. You will enjoy a real interest in Arts 4 Dementia, and our growing relationship with community fundraisers.

You will be able to research, analyse and help us achieve successful campaign ideas. 

Your Responsibilities 
  • You will help to manage our Arts 4 Dementia Forum.
  • You will help to manage presence in social networking sites, including Facebook, Twitter and other community sites.
  • Help build an active brand champion network to raise awareness.
  • You will help set up a fundraising campaign through our charity website.
  • Manage our LIGHT UP! social media campaign, write editorial.
Your Skills and Experience
  • You are articulate and professional, able to provide information concisely and effectively to people reaching out to Arts 4 Dementia.
  • You have effective communication skills to build and maintain relationships.
  • You are skilled with
  • Good technical understanding and knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Online tools to manage data and contact information, Excel.
  • Social media platforms, the blogging ecosystem and how best to deploy Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Flickr, RSS feeds etc.
  • You are highly motivated and inspired to use new technology to enhance lives.
