Information Officer
Arts 4 Dementia values the skills and time given by volunteers and interns, who we hope will gain valuable experience with us, as we develop our groundbreaking arts and educational programme to help stimulate and re-energise people in the early stages of dementia.
You will work with our chief executive of Arts 4 dementia on the development of arts activities for people living with dementia in the community and their carers, help to update our website with events, tweet and build up our database.
Your Responsibilities
You will help update and upload details of events for people living with dementia in the community.
You will become familiar with our evaluation report, our conference and respond to enquiries.
You will assist with the administration of our fundraising programme.
You will help to promote the use of the events listings on the Arts 4 Dementia website to arts organisations, and raise awareness through social networking sites, including Facebook, Twitter and other community sites
Your Skills and Experience
You are articulate and professional, able to provide information concisely and effectively to people reaching out to Arts 4 Dementia.
You have effective communication skills to build and maintain relationships.
You are skilled with
Word, Excel.
Social media platforms, the blogging ecosystem and how best to deploy Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Flickr , etc.
You are highly motivated.
