Arts 4 Dementia's Best Practice Conference held on 14 November 2011 at The Royal Albert Hall was a stunning success.
With keynote speeches by Harry Cayton OBE, chair of the Department of Health and Arts Council England's
A Prospectus for Arts and Health
and by Baroness Greengross, chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Dementia, the conference was attended by over 120 delegates and speakers from the UK, Europe and the US. Wide-ranging evidence was presented and the views of leaders in dementia, the arts, age and care services were discussed, in a concerted mission to enrich the lives of peope with dementia and their carers.
