Description of the Event:Calling all friends of Arts 4 Dementia for a programme of music in partnership with the Angel Community Canal Boat Trust, guided by skipper John Checkley.
Noted operatic mezzo-soprano Vivien Conacher will inspire with her lovely voice and re-energise individuals, carers, families and friends living with early stage dementia in the community, singing opera choruses as the boat rises and drops in the lock. Enjoy the reverberations of her arias echoing along the long, dark tunnel and re-join the singing while the boat continues its leafy architectural journey and moors by the canal side.
You will see the Angel moored alongside Graham Street Park, the green area on Graham Street, next to City Road Basin.
